Parents Take Note: Good News for Children and the Anxiety of Choosing a College

Parents of college age children, take a deep breath!  Frank Bruni has written an excellent article about the pervasive anxiety associated with getting our children into a top 10 college or university.  Attempting to gain admission to a top 10 school is a merciless task.  And there is some silly notion that not gaining this admission is akin to failure.  Refreshingly, Bruni shares in his piece, "it is statistically easier today than it was 30 years ago for an American high school senior who seeks admission to one of the 100 or even 50 most highly regarded colleges to gain it."  This is great news for us parents to remember and to remind our children.  http://time.com/author/frank-bruni/
